What are pound cake balls?
Just that! Delicious fully cooked bite-sized Pound Cake, baked in molds to form cake balls and then dipped in a rich and creamy coating.
What size are the cake balls?
Our cake balls are about 1.5-inches round, nearly the size of a golf ball. We have found this to be the perfect size to satisfy that need for a sweet treat. When serving at a party, we say that about 2 - 3 per person are sufficient. Usually they come back for more though….:o)
How do I store pound cake treats?
When your petite sweets arrive, store them in the refrigerator or cool place. It's important to refrigerate them upon arrival to keep them as fresh as possible until you are ready to serve them.. Pound Cake balls are really best served at room temperature.
How long can I store cake balls?
Since most of our cake products are pound cake they can easily be stored for up to 7 days in the refrigerator. They can also be frozen in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 6 months.
What are your hours of operation?
Our customer service hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9AM – 6PM. Sometimes we are away from the computer or phone busy making our delicious homemade from scratch pound cake recipes. Do you have a retail location?
We now operate out of our State of Ohio License home bakery where we can focus on making and shipping our pound cake products.
How much is shipping and handling?
Our shipping rates depend on the weight of the package and also the shipping address. To determine your pricing, you will need to enter your shipping address and select your shipping method from the drop down menu. You will be able to see the shipping cost without inputting your credit card information.
How long does Ground shipping take?
Ground shipping a guaranteed delivery date, like next day air or 2-Day Air. But, typically, it will take anywhere from 2 to 5 days depending on the delivery location. Please note, if you select Ground shipping, we will only ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday during certain parts of the year so that our perishable cake balls won't sit in a shipping hub over the weekend.
Do you do "Gender Reveal" cake balls?
Yes! We do!! Our pink strawberry pound cake balls inside of a lemon coating and our blueberry pound cake balls hidden inside of a smooth vanilla coating. These are available by special order, so please contact us, and we'll be happy to help get your order going.
Do you do cake balls for weddings and parties?
Yes. We do! We currently offer pound cake balls in an elegant party favor fashion. Our brides have used our pound cake balls for their bridal showers, served with champagne or wines. The a make a beautiful addition to any dessert table. Please contact us and place your order.
